Why an international move usually needs storage
On a domestic move, storage is a fallback for when things go wrong. On an international move it is the norm, because your UK sale, your onward purchase or rental, and your removal date are three separate dates set by three different parties in two countries, and they rarely land on the same week.
We hold goods two ways: storage in transit, where your things leave the UK before the destination address is fully confirmed, and storage on arrival, where they wait near the destination town until the property is ready. Either way the same crew that surveyed and packed your goods handles the release, against the same itemised inventory, so nothing is re-catalogued by a third party in between.
