What moving into Málaga actually involves
The historic centre inside the Alameda and around Calle Larios is pedestrianised with timed delivery windows only, so a full lorry is not an option there — we work to the permitted slot and shuttle in. Blocks in that quarter are old, and the lifts are small enough that an external furniture lift is often the only sensible route for large items.
Away from the centre the constraint changes to gradient. El Limonar, Pedregalejo and the hillside streets above the city are steep, narrow and lined with parked cars, and some of the approach roads have turns a long vehicle simply cannot make. The newer developments toward Teatinos and the western beaches are the opposite — wide access and underground parking, though the height limit in an underground car park usually means unloading at street level.
